From One Teacher to Another and the Education Community: Why I Built TeachSavvy
As a classroom teacher for over two decades, I’ve seen firsthand the pressure, the passion, and the potential that teachers carry into their classrooms every single day. I’ve also seen how traditional evaluations can feel more like judgment than growth and how professional development often misses the mark on what teachers actually need.
That’s why I created TeachSavvy.
TeachSavvy is an AI-powered self-assessment and development tool built by educators, for educators. It’s not here to rate you. It’s here to support you, to give you honest, unbiased feedback in a way that feels empowering, not invasive.
Our goal? To make growth feel personal again. To help teachers reflect, refine, and rise with no fear, no pressure, and no red tape.
This platform was born out of love for teaching, frustration with outdated systems, and an unshakable belief in what’s possible when teachers are trusted with the tools they deserve. With the help of brilliant collaborators from universities, nonprofits, and school districts, we’ve tested and shaped TeachSavvy alongside real educators in real classrooms.
The result is something I wish I had earlier in my career: a simple, smart way to understand my own impact, track my growth, and share it proudly.
TeachSavvy is still evolving and that’s the point. It’s a tool built on feedback, driven by trust, and guided by the voices of teachers who believe there’s always room to grow.
If that sounds like you, welcome. Let’s build the future of teaching together.
